World Cup update

So. Here we are nearly at the climax of the World Cup. I have an uncanny ability to jinx teams by saying they are going to do well which seemed to work an absolute treat with Argentina, who I strongly tipped in my last message.
I must say that I was very disappointed to see England go out and watched the game in the Walkabout in Cardiff with my brother in law (from Blackpool). The family are all rallying round him now to try and get him through this difficult time.
I would like France to go all the way now because, for the footy purists and neutrals, that means we get to see the great Zinidine Zidane play a couple more games. The guy is incredible and is, for me, the best player the world has seen since Maradonna-bearing in mind that I first started following football in 1984 at the age of 8 and therefore never saw the likes of Pele, Eusebio and Cruyff.
Loved Terry Venables line that they should play music while Zidane is on the ball!
Anyway, I'm thinking its gonna be a GermanyVFrance final. I just hope that at some point we all get to see Christiano Ronaldo in tears...AGAIN!
Keep having fun in the sun!
Best
Rod
