Pre Tour 2nd leg
Hey folks. Hope you're all well and 2006 is treating you kindly. Mid February already and the second leg of the tour is fast impending. I met up with Paddy recently who was down here in Welsh Wales filming for a Wayne Rooney TV Special. I was delighted to hear that I had convinced him to play South Wales on the second half of the tour schedule (to be honest he thought the Rhyl gig was only a two minute walk from Cardiff. I think he should change his opening song to "Don't know much about Geography"). What a buzz to find out today that the gig has virtually sold out. TIDY! I'm sure I can rely on all the Welsh Paddyfiles to give him a right royal Welcome In The Hillside.
On the subject of Wales, yesterday I bought my wife a Welsh rugby shirt for Valentine's day. This sounds like a joke but couldn't be less amusing: hours later Mike Ruddock, the Welsh coach, resigned. What does that mean? (I've already banned her from wearing it again!)
We're all really looking forward to resuming the tour and to more great nights with the Great British public. It'll be good to see all the crew again and get the old bandwagon rolling after a 3 month break. We're on the road till June which will take us right up to the World Cup and a well earned summer on the sofa. So in the meantime, let's get ready to rumble... IT'S SHOWTIME. Catch a glimpse of The Darkside at a theatre near you!
