Happy New Year

I won't waste any time trying to crack a New Year funny as I'm sure you've all already received the chain text message requesting money and beer, rather than well wishes. I really started something there.
Anyway just a quick line to wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2008, and also to keep you updated regarding the Funny Business series I mentioned previously. The first episode hits screens at 10pm, 21st January on BBC2 in Wales (for the rest of the UK it's SKY Channel 991) and it runs for the next four weeks at the same time. I've seen a few sneak previews and it's looking good so don't forget to tune in, tell your friends and laugh in all the right places.
There are a few other things in the offing (whatever that means) which I'll tell you about when they're more definite - never count your chickens like my aunt used to say. Mind you she was mental. She used to mix up her metaphors. I was brought up on such pearls of wisdom as 'too many cooks... before you leap!' What the hell is that? 'Absence makes the iron hot.' Aye?!!! We used to turn the iron on and go out for a few hours, just to make it nice and hot. We got back the one day and the house had burned down. Thanks Auntie!
Anyway, speak again soon. In the meantime, have a great one!
Best
Rod
PS Wales for the Grand Slam - that always gets a laugh!
