It seems like I always begin my news bulletins with an apology for not having been in touch for so long. Im not going to make any excuses other than the fact that it all seems too much like homework to me.
If I do have a reason it is that the last few months have been eyeball busy.
"Why? What have you been doing thats been so all consuming?" I hear everyone ask in unison.
Well, the BBC have commissioned a series called "Funny Business" for BBC 3 which follows the search for "Wales'Next Big Comedian" by way of a national competition... And I am nothing if not in for a penny, so thought I would enter it. Just a couple of weeks ago, after several months of heats and semis, I was lucky enough to be named joint winner at the final. The whole thing was great fun and I had the pleasure of meeting some very fine and upstanding comedians along the way.
The Beeb cameras are now following me for the next couple of months to see where things go until the series is aired this Autumn, so I am on my very best behaviour - in fact I am holding a fart in as I type these words.
So that's what I've been up to.
I'll keep you up to speed once I know the transmission dates in October but in the meantime, have a great summer!
