Halloween-podcast update
Hi folks
My house has just been terrorised and egged by a bunch of freakish looking youths...Nothing to do with Halloween - that's just what you get for living in Wales. As far as the whole trick or treating thing goes though, I'm never sure what the safest policy is. I notice this year that some of the national papers are giving away signs you can stick on your front door saying "No trick or treaters." The way I see it, if you do that you might as well stick another sign up saying "Please post a turd through my letterbox."
I do think you can try too hard though. Last year my sister sat there splitting packs of sweets and divvying them up into individual cellophane bags. This, I feel, is also asking for trouble. Besides, there was a moment when - as I walked into her kitchen and found her sat at a table covered in smarties - I thought she was a some kind of secret Ecstacy dealer.
Anyway, as it's the All Hallows Eve I thought it might be appropriate to give my forthcoming first podcasts a bit of a Halloweeney theme. I've been doing a bit of work this afternoon and hope you'll have something to upload/download (? - whatever it is) very soon. Videos to follow shortly after, if the mindbending intruction manual for my new camcorder makes it past Bonfire Night!
In the meantime, Happy Halloween
